Wow!! I can't believe I ran a 1/2 marathon! This is something I NEVER thought I would be able to do and I did it! Despite the weather and just not feeling my best I feel like I accomplished something huge. Let me go ahead and just tell whoever is reading this that God carried me through the last 3-4 miles! I was the crazy lady praying outloud :) Debbie my mother-in-law is a MACHINE and coached me through it all. My sister Heather was supposed to run the whole thing with us but we couldn't find her before the race, we "ran into" her at mile 11 and of course I was screaming and hugging her sweat all on us :) so that was AWESOME that we all got to finish together!! Debbie handed me a charm for a necklace that said "13.1" on it when we were about 1/2 a mile to the finish line. So of course I'm trying not to bawl b/c then you REALLY can't breathe! I could hear T.J. screaming for us when we crossed the finish line but I had no energy to even look up! As you can tell by the pictures, haha have a good laugh :) However, I just want to encourage anyone and everyone to do something like this. IF KELLY ROSS can run 1/2 a marathon ANYONE can! :)
