Congratulations to us! :) We made it through the first year of marriage!! If the first year is supposed to be the hardest then we have it made!!! Is that the case?! :) I think we have it at least a little easier then some considering we've "been together" for 7 years. For me and T.J.'s 1 year wedding anniversary we decided to go to Branson, Missouri- I had never been to Branson and T.J. doesn't have the best memory so he probably doesn't ever remember going anyways :) (Literally guys T.J. has a horrible memory- I talk to him ALL THE TIME about things we did in high school and college and he's like "that's cool", "we did", "that must of been fun"- I don't get it....)SO! We stayed at the CUTEST/SWEETEST B&B about 5 minutes out of Branson (In Hollister really) it was called The Kitehouse. I definitely recommend it!! While in Branson we played mini golf twice (T.J. about quit 1/2 way through the 1st time b/c he was losing), laser tag (which I dominated in b/c I just chased him around b/c I was too scared to hide and wait to be "hit"), went to a cave (T.J.'s favorite part), went to a show (free tickets from the B&B), ate ate ATE, saw a movie- all sorts of fun stuff!!! We even went to a beach off a lake where T.J. preceeded to tell an old man to "stop looking at his wife like that" :) No really- he did that- SO EMBARRASSING. (That's T.J. for you!)
The trip was SO FUN and we'll always remember it!! It was a great escape and I'm already thinking of the next trip!!
Looking back on this year of marriage I can TRULY say it was the best year of my life. I've learned a lot, grown up a lot and had a lot more responsibilites but I wouldn't change any of it. I feel so blessed!!
